This commentary on the KIDS COUNT data book recommends the following steps to make sure we count all kids: Keep the untested citizenship question off 2020 Census questionnaires: maximize the Census Bureau’s capacity; fund state and local outreach; expand the pool of trusted messengers; address the digital divide; address privacy and confidentiality concerns.
