WEBINAR: Counting Young Children in the 2020 Census: Strategy and Resources

This webinar is designed to help Census advocates plan and conduct their campaigns to count all young children in the 2020 Census. The 2010 Census missed 1 in 10 young children, reducing for a decade federal funding for programs that help children thrive.

Deborah Stein, Network Director at Partnership for America’s Children, will review the reasons why we think young children are missed in the Census and describe the tools that the Count All Kids Campaign will make available to Complete Count Committees, advocates, and service providers, to help make sure that all young children are counted.  In addition, Rebecca Rodriguez,  Deputy Director Census Program/Young Children, from the National Association of Latino Elected  and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund will discuss their resources for counting Latinx young children.
